French as a Foreign Language classes

The EPHE proposes two different types of free French language classes to students and doctoral students:

  • intensive courses at the beginning of the semester: following a language level test taken on the first day, students selected will take part in daily training of around 6 hours of lessons (from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm) over ten days
  • weekly French Foreign Language and scientific communication lessons for non-French speaking students: two language levels are proposed.

These lessons are free. Students may register once the FFL teacher has given confirmation.

Lesson schedules are updated every year.
