Start of the 2020 academic year – October 8

Due to the difficulties caused by the sanitary context, the first day of the master’s degree in Asian Studies will take place this year on Thursday, October 8, 2020, exclusively online:

  • 10am-12pm: General presentation

On this occasion, those in charge of the master’s degree, as well as speakers from the teaching team and associated research centers, will make a presentation of the different aspects and objectives of the Master’s programme. The main points concerning the conduct of the courses and research seminars (calendar, assessment methods, etc.), including the constraints imposed by the health context, will also be discussed. Finally, a last sequence will be reserved for miscellaneous questions.

  • 2 pm-5.30 pm: Student workshops

This is a novelty proposed this year to the students enrolled in our programme. Several webinars will be offered to stimulate interaction and integration of master’s students into the life cycle of our training offer. Three types of successive online seminars will be organized according to three main criteria: cultural area (or field of application), discipline, theme. Each student will therefore participate in each of the workshops during the afternoon, with the opprtunity to directly interact with doctoral students, teachers and researchers.

A detailed program of this opening day will be sent to you very soon, as well as the links to the different online meeting rooms.
